She's Smart: Negotiation $trategies for Women
Friday, April 12, 1:00 p.m. –5:00 p.m., UNC School of Law
Student organizations UNC Women in Law and UNC Women in Business present "She's Smart: Negotiation $trategies for Women," a workshop focusing on the unique challenges women face negotiating for pay and position in the workplace.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Equal Pay Act, which requires that men and women in the same workplace be given equal pay for equal work. Despite the protections of the EPA, there remains a pressing need for working women to understand the pay equity gap and to gain skills that might remedy this gap.
Please join us at UNC School of Law for a discussion and hands-on activities, led by N.C. attorneys and businesswomen, which focus on how women can become better advocates for themselves in the workplace.
Online registration is available.
Please contact Esther Earbin if you have questions or would like additional information.
