Women in Law
Welcome!
Every year, Women in Law hosts two big events: A Faculty Dinner in the fall, which brings together women faculty and women law students, and Judges' Chambers, a dinner discussion among North Carolina female judges, and members of the law school community. Women in Law is also pleased to be a co-sponsor of the annual Women in the Legal Profession Symposium.

Meet and Mingle Mentor-Mentee Event this Friday!
When: Friday, September 25th at 7 pm
Where: West End
What: Come hang out with your Mentor or Mentee and get to know the rest of the women in Women in Law at West End.
Girl Scout Mock Trial Volunteers Needed!
When: October 17th, 9am-12pm and October 18th, 1-4pm
What: Please contact Cindy Zachary (czakary@email.unc.edu) ASAP if you are interested in volunteering and earning pro bono hours. This is a great opportunity to influence the next generation of women attorneys!

About Women in Law
The purpose of Women in Law is to address concerns and issues facing women who are entering the legal profession by creating a system of social and educational support for women and those concerned with women's issues during their legal education. This system will serve as a network by which women law students are introduced into the existing community of female lawyers and to other students, lawyers, employers, professors and judges who are committed to the growth of females in the legal profession.
