A special thank you to all who participated in Heels on the Street. The event was a great success and we had about 130 students volunteer throughout the community. Thank you to Sonal Raja and Vivian Intermont, the SBA Public Service Representatives, who worked hard to organize the entire event and did a magnificent job!

Come to the Notre Dame game!
Mark your calendars, folks! Carolina Law can apply for a block of student seats for the Notre Dame football game at Kenan Stadium on October 11th. The catch--we need people to sign up with UNC PIDs as soon as possible BUT NO LATER THAN September 20. If you are interested, please email email@example.com with your name, year in school (1L, 2L, 3L), and PID and we will start the application process. The seats will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so email quickly since this is a restricted distribution game and your ID alone will not get you in.
October 11 also happens to be Alumni Weekend. This is an even where the law school hosts a tailgate in the law school parking lot. What better way to spend a Saturday than schmoozing with law school alumni outside the law school and then heading over to the game to sit in a block section with all of your friends?!
To sign up for the Alumni BBQ, please download and complete the alumni form at http://studentorgs.law.unc.edu/sba/. The BBQ will start 2 hours before the game (time still TBA), and the cost for students is only $10. This $10 gets you a meal of BBQ and beer, so it is a great deal!
