Changes to the Late Night Bus are being proposed

Chapel Hill Transit is proposing two significant changes to the late night weekend bus service from Franklin Street (the buses are free and run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights).

The proposal includes cutting the late night G bus (runs down 54 to Glen Lennox, Finley Forrest, Alta Springs, Meadowmont, etc) from every 30 minutes to every hour. The proposal also stops the bus at 2 am, instead of 2:30 am. The bus route to University Mall would be eliminated.

If you would like your voice heard on these proposed changes, please email the UNC Student Government at UNCSafeRide@gmail.com and Chapel Hill Transit at chtransit@townofchapelhill.org. There is also an open forum being held today from 4-5pm in Peabody 218.
