Refrigerator Clean Out
I wanted to apologize to any students who had their lunches/dinners thrown out this past weekend. A student organization cleaned out the refrigerator per a scheduled clean-out, and I failed to post a sign about this occurring. Usually there are signs posted at the start of the week stating that the fridges are getting cleaned out. I realize the inconvenience that occurred from having your dinner/lunch thrown out while you are here studying, and I am very sorry.
On December 5 at 7:00 p.m., Student Services will be giving out free Bojangles and Coffee! Just stop by the Rotunda while you are studying!
No Smoking Policy Reminder
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (the "University") is dedicated to maintaining a healthy work and learning environment. While the University already prohibits smoking inside its buildings and facilities, beginning January 1, 2012, the policy will expand to prohibit smoking in State-owned vehicles and in the outdoor areas controlled by the University up to 100 feet from University facilities.
Smoking must not occur within the no smoking areas as designated by signage. All smoking materials must be disposed of in the appropriate receptacles.
Additionally, the Department of Public Safety may issue citations to anyone who violates this policy. Citations result in a fine of up to $25 and are subject to additional court costs as well.
2L Shirts are In!
Stop by the rotunda during lunch before the semester ends and pick one up while SBA members are tabling!
