On April 1, 2017, UNC’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund hosted its sixth annual Animal Law Symposium. The free event featured panels on a variety of subjects and include speakers from the The Humane Society of the United States - North Carolina, the North Carolina General Assembly, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Defenders of Wildlife, and more!
