The third annual UNC SALDF Animal Law Symposium will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The symposium will feature a keynote speech from Gavin Parsons (Troutman Sanders LLP) on his experience working with the Animal Legal Defense Fund to save Ben the Bear through NCGS 19A.

The symposium will also feature four panels, including the intersection of domestic violence & animal law, current animal law legislation, and a Q&A with animal law attorneys.

The symposium is free for students and $5 for outside community members. A vegan lunch from Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe will be provided.
