We help parents (including expecting, foster, adoptive, and step-parents) have a more comfortable experience at UNC Law. The law school experience is very different for people who have children - generally, we have greater time constraints and more responsibilities compared to most students. Our goal with Parents as Law Students is to show you that you're not crazy, you can do this, and be good at it, too.
We hold monthly* free-form lunches where we discuss what's going on with you - be it classes, memos, finals, parking, kids, spouses, or whatever comes up.
We also share knowledge about the Triangle area's resources for parents: activities, daycare, babysitters, and more.
*We try to make them monthly

Our presidents are both third-year law students who have jumped through the various flaming hoops of law school and emerged only slightly singed. They know the teachers, the administrators, and the system in general. If they can't help you out, they know someone who can.
