General Information for Prospective Students

Lambda is committed to providing information to prospective LGBT or allied students about UNC Law, and being out as a North Carolinian and as a lawyer. As you consider what school you want to make your home for three years of law school, we are happy to answer both your LGBT-related questions as well as serve as a contact for any general questions you may have about UNC Law.

While most issues important to an LGBT prospective law student are similar to those of any other potential student, we understand that there are particular concerns that an LGBT student may have--such as finding a safe, inclusive, and progressive environment--that may be less important to other students. We are happy to discuss any concerns you may have.

If you have plans to visit UNC Law, please let us know. We would be happy to arrange for a Lambda member to meet you for a meal or coffee to discuss LGBT issues at UNC Law and in the Triangle.

Also, if you have any general questions, please feel free to ask. If you would like a return phone call from a Lambda member, let us know what times would be best to reach you.
