Welcome to ILO!

Here you can find all of the updates and information related to the International Law Organization (ILO).

The ILO is the organization at UNC School of Law that is dedicated to broadening the scope of UNC's international legal presence at home and abroad. To achieve this, we are actively engaged in:

  • Bringing in guest lecturers on a wide array of topics, including recent issues related to international business and international human rights. For example, in the past we have brought speakers from an international law firm, the Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, and a representative from the UN Human Rights Commission;
  • Organizing social events so that you can get to know your fellow UNC students who share your interest in International Law; and
  • Helping students facilitate study abroad experiences by giving them information about various study abroad programs, getting them in touch with students and faculty in the law school who can help start the process, and sharing past experiences about studying abroad in Law School.

Please feel free to browse the site for upcoming events, officer contact information, and helpful links.
