Each year, the UNC School of Law holds an Environmental Law Symposium for attorneys from across North Carolina as part of the law school's annual Festival of Legal Learning. Under the guidance of UNC Law Professors Jonas Monast, Donald Hornstein, and Maria Savasta-Kennedy, members of ELP prepare short papers exploring current topics in environmental law, with an emphasis on North Carolina issues. These papers inform the symposium presentations and are included in the packet received by symposium attendees.
