Directions

The School of Law is located on Ridge Road on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.

From Greensboro and points west of Chapel Hill:

  1. Take Interstate 40, heading east.
  2. Take the Highway 54 exit (exit 273) and head west on 54 toward Chapel Hill for about 2 miles. As you approach the campus, you will pass a shopping center (Glen Lennox). Immediately afterwards, you will start climbing a long-ish hill. At the top of the hill, you will come to an intersection with a traffic light marked by a large stone University of North Carolina sign.
  3. Take a left onto Country Club Rd., and then an immediate right onto Ridge Rd.
  4. The Law School is the first building on your right on Ridge Rd.

From Durham/Raleigh and points east of Chapel Hill:

  1. Take Interstate 40, heading east.
  2. Exit onto Highway 54 (exit 273B). Keep going east for about 2 miles. As you approach the campus, you will pass a shopping center (Glen Lennox). Immediately afterwards, you will start climbing a long-ish hill. At the top of the hill, you will come to an intersection with a traffic light marked by a large stone University of North Carolina sign.
  3. Take a left onto Country Club Rd., and then an immediate right onto Ridge Rd.
  4. The School of Law is the first building on your right on Ridge Rd.

Parking

Parking will be available in 2 lots that surround the law school: the Upper Law School Lot and the School of Government Parking deck. There will be signs posted around these lots and attendants at each lot. There is also additional parking very close by at the Hwy. 54 lot, located two blocks east of the intersection of Hwy. 54 and Country Club Drive.

The map below illustrates the parking areas near the law school. Directly to the left of Hooker fields is the School of Government parking deck. The law school is not marked on this map, but is the small grey box located directly below the School of Government parking deck. The grey area connecting the School of Government parking deck and the law school is the upper law school parking lot. The Hwy 54 lot is on the far right on South Road.
