Auction & Benefit 2015

Carolina Public Interest Law Organization will host its annual Auction & Benefit at Top of the Hill on January 29, 2015 from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. All of the proceeds from the event go directly to fund UNC law students accepting full-time, unpaid public interest law positions for the summer. Last year the event raised $23,000, helping to fund 18 students’ public-interest internships.

The auction features a live and silent auction, giving students a chance to bid on unique experiences with their professors: from camping trips, dinner at a professors' home, karoke night, tickets to UNC basketball, and much more! The event also aims to support local small businesses which graciously donated many of the auction items. UNC sports memorabilia, vacation homes, shopping parties, wine tastings, art, ski passes and more than a hundred other items and services will be up for auction. Last year's benefit featured Carolina Law's Dean Myers as emcee, students Munashe Magarira and Roby Chatterji as comic relief, and heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Top of the Hill. Tickets cost $13 in advance or $15 at the door, and cover admission and the cost of food.

NEW: This year's auction is also selling advance online tickets! Online tickets will be available until noon the day of the auction.
