Carolina Public Interest Law Organization will host its annual Community Auction & Benefit in a virtual format from February 4,2021 - February 18, 2021. All of the proceeds from the event go directly to fund UNC law students accepting full-time, unpaid public interest law positions for the summer. Stay tuned for more information!
The virtual auction features a live (February 18th) and silent auction (February 4th-18th), giving students and alumni a chance to bid on unique, socially-distanced experiences with their professors: from hiking a portion of the Appalachian Trail with Prof. Hornstein, an outdoor fireside session at professors' homes, a vacation to South Africa, and much more! The event also aims to support local small businesses which graciously donated many of the auction items. UNC sports memorabilia, vacation homes, shopping parties, wine tastings, art, ski passes and more than a hundred other items and services will be up for auction. Due to the proceeds gained from in-person tickets, tickets to participate in the virtual auctions have a suggested donation of $5.00.
After registering, you will receive more information relating to logistics of the auction from Advancement. Additionally, for auction updates and item features, follow @cpilo_unc on Instagram.
