Carolina Law Ambassadors

Welcome!

Whether you have been accepted to or are simply considering Carolina Law, we are here to help. As you anticipate your first year (1L year) of law school, you probably have lots of questions and some concerns as well. That's what we are here for! Carolina Law Ambassadors is a student-run organization whose primary purpose is to answer your questions and dispense advice (maybe helpful, maybe not!) to help make your transition easier.

We have set up a Facebook group page so that you can start to see your potential and/or fellow classmates and the wonderful CLA Staff. We plan on using Facebook as a discussion area also. Join here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=65859660046. I would also recommend getting connected to the UNC Facebook network as soon as you get your e-mail address.

All incoming students will also be placed on a moderated email listserv. The email address for the listserv is: carolinalaw2012@listserv.unc.edu. Sometimes there is a lag between your acceptance and our adding you. If you just can't wait, you may add yourself by clicking here: http://lists.unc.edu/read/all_forums/subscribe?name=carolinalaw2012. If you have a question that you would like to ask a current student, please email that student. If it is a general question feel free to e-mail the listserv. Responses will be issued in one of two ways: individually by a member of CLA who is in the best position to answer your question or to the entire listserv. If the response is sent to the entire listserv, it may also be posted on the message board as a question and response.

If there is something missing that you believe would be helpful, or if there is a problem with this page, please let us know! Please keep in mind, though, that this page is totally student-run -- so please be patient with us...especially until classes and finals are done. If you have questions about this list, please contact one of the list administrators. Please do NOT contact the law school with questions about this list.
